Axess 2 have manufactured, supplied, installed and service many of the lifts for public and private use in the UK. Axess 2 offer a complete range of lifts that comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, BS EN 81-41, BS6440 and are CE marked. Our range of wheelchair lifts are fully complient with Doc M Building Regulations, satisfy the requirements the DDA and are available for both commercial and home use. Axess 2 have a range of lifts to suit virtually any requirement, function or application including bespoke purpose built lifts. Many of our lifts are available with a extensive list of features and options. Below are some of our ranges:
Disabled Platform Lifts
A1 Platform Lift is staircase platform lift for straight flight or curved staircases, available in 3 sizes and suitable for either internal or external use.
A2 Low rise Lifting Platform is a low rise scissor wheelchair lift where a change in level of up to 1 metre is required.
A3 Low rise Vertical Platform Lift requires a floor space of only 1300mm x 1550mm but still provides space for a wheelchair user and attendant. The A3 lift can travel up to 5 meters.
A4 Open Platform Lift is a architectural wheelchair scissor lift, designed for level differences of 300mm to 2000mm.
A5 Enclosed Vertical Screw Lift is a Cibes A5000 lift screw driven platform lift, enclosed in a pre-built shaft wall that requires no machine room. Available in any RAL colour or glass panels.
A6 Supreme XL is a fully Part M Compliant DDA approved wheelchair lift with extra load capacity. The ideal lift for public access and domestic use.
A7 E-motion platform lift a MRL electric lift with low power consumption. A7 E-motion has unique automatic sliding doors, requires no pit and has a low headroom.
Goods Lifts.
Goodsmaster can be installed without the requirement of a separate motor room, load-bearing wall or lift shaft. Goodsmaster Goods lifts are available for 500kg, 750kg, 1000kg or 1500kg and can travel up to 12 meters or 4 floors.
Cargofit is our goods only lift, with a rated load of 1600 kg, reduced pit 150mm, max. load 650kg and can travel up 18 meters. Supplied with 1 or 2-panel, swing doors.
Dumbwaiters can serve up to 6 floors and maximum travel of 20 meters. They have a load capacity is 50-200kg and require no lift shaft or load bearing walls.
Home Lifts for Personal Use.
The A6 Supreme Little 1 has 60 car sizes available. A lift to fit any home running off single phase electricity and no pit required.
Light Touch is a high tech Italian designer lift for personal use. Made in Italy with over 25 models available for indoor and outdoor installation.
A7 E-motion platform lift requires no pit and with a wide range of bespoke options E-motion is also an ideal lift for for installation in a home. Our A7 Emotion Leonardo was recently featured on Channel 4 Grand Designs.
Vehicle Car Parking Lifts.
Axess 2 are also suppliers and installers of Kleeman car parking lifts. Kleeman offer a range of bespoke car parking lift solutions including single and double car parking lifts and vertical lifts for vehicles.

Case Study
Install our brand new A7-emotion ‘Leonardo’ traction platform lift, with machine room in lift shaft, and new low power geared motor.
The Challenge
The client was very specific about the type of lift required for this project, they had previously used an ‘L’ shaped conventional platform lift, but they had found that some people had found it difficult to hold down the lift button to run and some people did not really like the feel of the open style platform travelling in a shaft. They wanted originally a conventional 8 person passenger lift, however with advice from structural engineers they could not build the pit required. The clients contacted Axess 2 purely by chance at a trade exhibition, where they had seen our new A7 traction lift.
The Solution
We visited the site and found that the E - Motion lift was more than suitable for the project as the lift only requires a 200mm pit and 2700mm headroom, with a smaller lift shaft required for a DDA compliant size, this allowed the client more retail area. As the lift has automatic sliding car doors and one touch controls the users would not know they are travelling in a platform lift.
The Outcome
With a maximum power usage of 4 amps our new A7 passenger lift will provide Oscars clients with a safe comfortable way to travel within the store.

Vantage Court Offices for Cooke Fuels
The Challenge
Local company, Barnfield Construction use Axess 2 platform lifts again for this project for Cooke (Samuel Cooke and Co) Fuels offices in Barrowford.
Barnfield Construction chose our A5 platform screw lift for the first offices on the Vantage Court site, which was perfect for the requirements for Part M of the building regulations, as this type of platform lift is designed for disabled access only with low use.
The client along with Barnfield Construction wanted a more useable lift with a more conventional passenger lift appearance.
A visit was made to the Axess 2 showroom, to view and ride in the new A7 E-motion pitless lift with low headroom. All were impressed with the look and feel of the product and after a short time decided to chose the lift specification and interior exactly how we had it in our offices. We believe it is much better to see our lift before buying, especially in these times when value for money and reassurance is needed.
The Solution
Although extremely high specification of lift car and glass structure was chosen, as it comes from our range, the lift was delivered within the eight weeks remit. The Vantage Court site had been prepared correctly by Barnfield Construction, to our drawings and the whole structure and complete platform lift were installed in 4 days. There were a couple of special items requested, as there was no permanent power on site we installed the lift from a 1kw generator, and because the lift is so low powered we only used half of the power output, this meant we did not delay any of the project due to power requirements. The client also wanted to have a tiled floor in the cabin, so a 15mm recess was designed in the cabin floor to allow a tile to be installed.
The Outcome
Just look at the pictures they speak for themselves, a unique modern platform lift for our discerning customers in 2010.
