SIMONSWERK designers have developed hinges for many different applications in the door, window and conservatory markets. These include:
ADJUSTABLE CONCEALED HINGES.
SIMONSWERK acclaimed TECTUS concealed door hinge is a 3D fully concealed adjustable hinge suitable for un-rebated premium doorsets, high performance and heavy-duty doors. The TE510 version is fire tested to BSEN 1634 - 30 mins TE525 - 60 mins. New version for doors with claddings up to 8mm including glass & laminate. We also manufacture 2D Adjustable Hinges and the Columbus 3D which is easily adjustable to the door position in all three directions.
SAMSON HIGH PERFORMANCE BRASS HINGES.
Samson hinges are a high performance maintenance free load bearing brass security hinge with 25 year performance guarantee. Suitable for heavy weight flush doors tested to BS EN 1935 Grade 12. Samson are available a CE marked hinge suitable for use on fire doors and are available with a wide range of designer finials.

BRASS BUTT HINGES & PROJECTION HINGES.
SIMONSWERK manufacture a wide range of brass projection washered hinges and brass butt unwashered hinges. Our hinges are available in solid brass, aluminium, stainless steel, steel and a range of finishes such as polished, satin, chrome, antique bronze, special finishes are available upon request. We also supply Ball Race hinges and our hinges can be supplied with a wide range of finials. SIMONSWERK hinges are suitable for low to high frequency situations such as residential, office, shops and public areas.
SINGLE & DOUBLE ACTION SPRING HINGES.
Steel and Stainless Steel, Single and Double action adjustable tension spring hinges for use on self closing doors. Our single action Steel Fire Rated hinge is suitable for use on FD30 Fire Doors tested within a timber doorset to BS EN 1634-1 2000.
HIGH SECURITY HINGES.
Our High Performance security hinges prevent the removal of the hinge pins. SIMONSWERK Brass Conductor Butt Hinges are supplied with concealed transfer of wires from door to frame removing the need for an armoured loop which are usually exposed to vandals.
Our Anti ligature hinges are designed for safety in prisons and can be supplied with intumescent pads CE marked suitable for use on 1/2 hour fire doors.
GLASS DOOR HINGES.
SIMONSWERK manufacture a wide range of glass door hinges suitable for glass doors with glass thickness of 8 and 10 mm as well as rebated and unrebated frame designs using wood, steel or aluminium. With a load-bearing capacity of up to 80 kg.
RISE AND FALL HINGES.
Self closing hinges for applications such as toilet cubicles and internal flush doors. Available in stainless steel, steel or aluminium.
SPECIAL PURPOSE HINGES.
Suitable for a diverse ranges of applications SIMONSWERK supply Lift-Off, Back flap, Counter flap, Composite Door hinges, PVCu door hinges, welded hinges for steel doors and hinges for Bi-Folding doors.
DOOR HARDWARE.
SIMONSWERK also manufacture brass and stainless steel foot action Door stops, aluminium letter plates and flush bolts for timber doors.

“AJ award winning project uses TECTUS”
Architect Jack Woolley’s almost invisible live/work scheme on the site of a former carpenters workshop won this year’s Architects Journal Small Projects Award, against strong competition from 24 short listed practices. Described by the judges as “delightful” and a superb use of a found site, the office & home project featured a “hidden” door built into the brickwork of an existing wall.
Architectural Ironmongers Poole Waite & Co Ltd recommended the door should be fitted with satin finish TECTUS TE640-3D hinges, from leading door hardware manufacturer SIMONSWERK, as this “fully concealed” hinge, itself an award winner, was by definition and specification the perfect partner for the project, a worthy recipient of the prestigious AJ Small Projects prize.
