Klargester Main Products:

Sewage Treatment Plants:
Klargester can supply Sewage Treatment solutions from small scale individual properties to large scale developments; ranging from 6 to 300 people. Klargester supply the Biodisc, Biotec and Envirosafe Sewage Treatment Plants.

Septic Tanks:
Basic Septic Tanks only partially treat sewage and discharge effluent of low quality. Many authorities in the UK & Ireland prohibit their use.
More advanced products, like Klargester SuperSeptic, offer a much higher level of effluent quality, but in all instances a Sewage Treatment Plant should be considered as the first option.

Reed Beds:
A reed bed is a natural filtration process used in conjunction with a BioDisc or Biosafe Treatment Plant to further enhance the quality of effluent migrating into surrounding watercourse.
A reed bed is only required when local water authorities request a better quality of effluent than that discharged from the standard unit.

Oil Separators:
Oil separators are installed on surface water drainage systems to protect receiving waters from pollution by oil, which may be present due to minor leaks from vehicles and plant, from accidental spillage.

Grease Traps & Grease Separators:
Grease Traps: An effective and hygienic method of separating fat and grease from waste water flow.
Grease Separators: For applications such as larger restaurants, hotels, etc. where a grease separator should be considered to give additional volume.

Stormwater Attenuation Systems:
When the peak inflow rate in a storm exceeds the allowed discharge into the watercourse, the excess flow has to be ’attenuated’ on the site for the duration of the storm. This is then released at, or less than, the allowed discharge rate after the storm.

Sewage Storage Tanks:
A Klargester Storage Tank provides a reliable solution for locations without mains drainage, where the discharge of treated effluent is not permissible due to unsuitable ground conditions, or where infrequent or seasonal use, such as a holiday home, would prevent the successful functioning of a BioDisc/Biotec packaged treatment plant.
