Heatpumps:
heat pump does not require any maintenance or refilling with fuel. It is very easy to use and does not take up much space. Usually it will take up less than half a square metre of floor space. DEVI's electric underfloor heating system has been installed in the most recent mycitypad.com developments in London - 77 apartments in North Kensington, W10 and 200 units at Fish Island, Bow E3.
Many more are planned as the cool, classy mycitypad.com design meets growing market demand for clean lines and fashionable living, especially amongst investors and DEVI won a competitive tender for the contracts.

With DEVI underfloor heating you don't need walls to hang radiators on; it's a 'dry' heating system with no risk of leaks, freezing pipes or maintenance of moving parts, pipes and boilers. Heat distribution from underfloor heating is spread evenly without creating cold spots.
The cabling is connected to individual thermostats located in each living area. "You can have heat where and when you need it - nothing could be simpler or more practical."

New High-Output Underfloor Heating Mat
DEVI has introduced a new high-output underfloor heating mat especially suited to new or refurbishment applications such as poorly insulated conservatories and cellars that tend to lose heat more rapidly than other parts of the home. It is also ideal for other small areas that would benefit from the introduction of floor heating.
The Devimat DTIF-200 has an output of 200 W/m2, allowing for faster heat-up and durable comfort.
DEVI, part of the global Danfoss Group, has been manufacturing electric floor heating units for more than 60 years and is currently Europe's leading industrial player. The new mat, designed for installation on concrete or tiled floors, completes the DTIF range and complements its existing 100Wm2 and 150Wm2 mats.
Devimats are prefabricated to allow easy installation. They comprise a self-adhesive open mesh onto which is attached a thin heating cable. The mat is laid in position and is then covered by a flexible tile adhesive that is used to fix the tiles to the floor. The total thickness of the mat and cable is just 3.5mm. Mats are available in a range of sizes from 1 – 12m2, each mat being approximately 0.5m wide.
The DTIF-200 mat utilises a twin-core heating cable with solid aluminium sleeving for added safety. Termination of the mat to the thermostat is achieved using a single 2-core cable moulded onto the met during manufacture. Appropriate thermostats are available from the DEVI range. The DTIF-range is certified in accordance with current standards and the heating cable mats are covered by DEVI’s general 10-year guarantee.
