Ronacrete screeds:
The Ronafix screed range comprises a large range of screeds including that can be trafficked in 24 hours as well as admixtures; polymer modified levelling screeds, wearing screeds, thin, fast drying, self smoothing screeds as well as floating screeds for underfloor heating systems. Weak screeds can be improved by treatment with an impregnating polymer that can penetrate their full depth.

Polymer screeds:
Ronacrete has a range of pre-packed levelling and wearing polymer screeds, plus the Ronafix BBA Approved admixture.

Self smoothing screeds:
These include levelling compounds and mortars plus a self smooth topping and base.

Rapid Drying Screeds:

Ronacrete 1 Day Overlay powder designed as a cement replacement for ultra rapid drying screed.
Ronacrete 1 Day Overlay powder pre-packed 6mm+ which is an ultra rapid drying screed.
Ronacrete 4 and 8 day overlay which are protein free rapid drying screed additives which can facilitate underfloor heating systems.

Fast setting, water tolerant, self smoothing, levelling screed
Description RonaScreed Self Smoothing Exterior Screed is a flow applied industrial flooring system. It provides a hard, durable floor surface for new floors or for renovating existing surfaces. The material gains strength quickly and can be accessed by foot traffic in 4—5 hours and by light to medium traffic after 24 hours @ 20ºC.

When applied correctly, RonaScreed Self Smoothing Exterior Screed produces a smooth, durable wearing surface. The application thickness can vary, ranging from 2mm to 40mm. For optimum performance and appearance RonaScreed Self Smoothing Exterior Screed should be applied by specialist industrial floor layers with expert knowledge of preparation, mixing and application.

Specification ClauseThe self smoothing screed shall be RonaScreed Self Smoothing Exterior Screed by Ronacrete Ltd, tel. +44 (0) 1279 638700. The primer shall be RonaScreed Self Smooth Primer. Apply in accordance with manufacturers instructions.

Application Preparation
The condition of the surface to be treated is of great importance. The substrate must be mechanically prepared e.g. scabbled, milled or shot blasted. All laitance and contamination must be removed to leave a clean aggregate exposed finish. Testing and assessment to BS8204 Part 3 should be conducted before proceeding with vacuum cleaning and priming. PrimerPrime the surface by applying one coat of RonaScreed Self Smooth Primer at the rate of 0.71 litres/m². Brush this well into the surface. Remove ponded primer.

Do not allow to dry. MixingMix using a heavy duty drill and paddle or a suitable pump. InstallationThe mixed material is poured or pumped onto the prepared and primed surface and levelled with a pin rake. Spike rolling is necessary to release entrapped air. PackagingRonaScreed Self Smoothing Exterior Screed is supplied in 25kg packs.

RonaScreed Self Smooth Primer is supplied in 5 or 25 litre containers. Shelf Life And StorageStore in a cool dry place. Shelf life in correct storage conditions for sealed bags is 6 months. High temperature and high humidity will lead to a reduced shelf life.
Health And SafetyNon-hazardous. Protective clothing such as goggles, overalls and gloves is recommended to prevent any effect from prolonged skin contact, inhalation or ingestion. Refer to Health and Safety Data Sheet. Site Attendance

When on site Ronacrete representatives are able, if asked, to give a general indication of the correct method of installing a Ronacrete product. It is important to bear in mind that Ronacrete Ltd is a manufacturer and not an application contractor and it is therefore the responsibility of the contractor and his employer to ensure he is aware of and implements the correct practices and procedures to ensure the correct installation of the product and that liability for its correct installation lies with the contractor and not with Ronacrete Ltd.
