Products:
Armourcoat Polished Plasters are celebrated for its smoothness, lustre and decorative richness. They give sumptuous, enduring finishes which can be enhanced by a host of textures and colours, thereby blending or contrasting with any setting, whether classical or modern. Emulating quarried stone such as marble and limestone is achieved easily, convincingly and cost-effectively – particularly for columns and curves – and with significantly less weight. The incredible hardness and durability of Armourcoat polished plasters ensure years of maintenance-free service with no fear of cracking or fading.
Armourcoat Sculptural® is a range of seamless sculptural wall surface designs. Armourcoat Sculptural® walls are constructed from a series of pre-cast panels that are bonded to the substrate.
Some of the designs are based on a single panel that creates a repeating pattern; others are made from a sequence of different panels that can be integrated together in many different ways to create totally unique sculpted walls. The multiple panel designs make it possible to create non-repetitive seamless sculptural walls where the designs flow and change across the surface just as in nature. As a consequence no two walls need ever be identical.
Armourcoat Sculptural® panels are mineral based and incorporate up to 30% post-consumer recycled content (depending on design), are non-toxic, and are completely non-combustible. The panels are extremely dense and hard with a smooth ceramic-like surface. Once the panels are installed each design can be finished in a range of decorative surface finishes.
ArmourCast is a unique stone finish casting product, offering stunning textures and effects in 3D designs. These hard and durable castings can reproduce almost any architectural shape and design that are too complex for a hand-applied finish.
Duturo is a marble and acrylic based textured coating offered in a range of 36 colours. Due to its hardness and easy-to-clean properties, this seamless, roller applied finish is particularly suited to high-volume, high-traffic areas.
ArmourColor was launched in 2006 and consists of a range of exquisite, decorative, paint effect finishes, which were developed in extensive consultation with architects, designers and professional decorators to create a harmonized spectrum of finishes, colours and effects. The ArmourColour range Perlata, Escenta and Tactite produce impressive interiors, which combine colour and durability. The finish is dependant on the hand of the applicator.
AntiCrack is a fibre and resin reinforced gypsum skim-coat plaster that resist cracking at board joints and improves the impact resistance and durability of drywall construction.
Armourcoat Squash court and hard wall plaster has a unique combination of strength and smoothness to provide accurate playing surface and the durability to withstand the constant pounding of balls without deterioration. Armourcoat supplies 85% of the worlds squash court plasters.

Ecobuild 2012
February 2012
Armourcoat will be exhibiting at Ecobuild in March (stand S571, ExCeL London, 20-22 March) the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment. As an industry leader, Armourcoat recognizes its obligation to manufacture green products. Core product lines are made from natural minerals, predominately pre-consumer recycled marble which can account for up to 40% of the product recipe. Reduction of the company’s carbon footprint has been realized in 2012 with the introduction of region specific pre-cast manufacturing in the USA, Middle East and Far East.
Last year Armourcoat introduced Ductal® from Lafarge - a revolutionary ultra-high performance cement composite material with outstanding characteristics that are unique in the world of mineral building materials. Ductal will be presented at the show, alongside the stunning range of decorative surface solutions from Armourcoat.
Armourcoat goes from strength to strength
February 2011
Armourcoat announced the addition of Ductal® to their world-renowned product range (Ecobuild, ExCeL, 1-3 March, stand S554).
Developed by Lafarge, Ductal® Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) presents a genuine revolution in the concrete sector. The material possesses a unique combination of superior properties including strength, ductility, durability and enhanced aesthetics. This enables designers to develop and realize new sculptural approaches to concrete forms.
Ductal® is ideally suited to the manufacture of lightweight decorative building façades. It can be cast in large thin panels with an outstanding level of surface finish detail, and has a strength and durability greater than natural stone. Ductal® can be pigmented to a wide range of colours and due to the very fine particle size, it will allow excellent replication of fine surface detail and texture from the mould.
Ductal® is highly resistant to exposure in extreme conditions such as marine environments and is fire resistant, corrosion and stain resistant. At the end of its life cycle, Ductal® may be recycled as an aggregate material. Ductal® is manufactured using industrial recycled waste products such as silica fume, which contributes towards helping our environment. In certain Ductal® applications, the reduction in the quantities of materials (through use of industrial waste raw materials) the embodied energy and global warming impact may be reduced by up to 40%.
An array of global projects for an impressive list of international blue chip clients in commercial, retail and domestic sectors have established Armourcoat as a leading supplier of high quality surface finishes. With the addition of Ductal®, and the specific development of a new range of highly decorative external building cladding panels, Armourcoat continues to go from strength to strength.
