Concrete Repair and Protection:

The Ronacrete concrete repair range includes Ronafix admixture, Ronafix site batched mortars, Ronabond pre-packed repair mortar and fairing coat, Ronabond Joltec elastomeric anti-carbonation coating and Zolpacryl anti-carbonation coating (both available in a range of colours). Ronabond MCI offers proven corrosion inhibiting technology that will extend the life of reinforced concrete structures.
Three products from the concrete repair range have BBA certificates Ronacrete Concrete Repair Admixture, Ronabond Concrete Repair Mortar and Ronabond Bedding Mortar.

Highway Maintenance:

The RonaRoad range of highway and road pothole repair products provide instant trafficking and ease of laying in most weather conditions including below freezing and wet (RonaRoad EcoPatch Pothole Repair can be laid at temperatures down to -20°C). They allow road authorities and councils to more easily meet their environmental targets and obligations by using environmentally friendly low and zero VOC softeners.

Waterproofing and tanking:

Ronafix modified cement renders are highly efficient at stopping the passage of water but allow the surface to breathe, thus avoiding the risk of internal condensation on the wall surface.
Two coats of Ronafix render will tank a basement and create a living or working space, or storage for paper and other media. The range includes pre-packed renders, Ronafix for renders (BBA approved) and damp proof membranes.

Art-Deco building refurbishment for Ronacrete & Cemplas

During the refurbishment of the old Barkers store in Kensington High Street, the RG Group appointed Cemplas Waterproofing and Concrete Repairs Ltd to lay in excess of 3,750m2 of Ronafix Polymer modified screed to the waterproofed areas on the Lower ground floor and the mezzanine first floor. The Barkers Building is a beautiful example of Art-Deco architecture and is now occupied by the organic food emporium, Whole Foods Market.

The Ronafix screed required laying with a thickness varying from 6mm up to 100mm. When laying a modified SBR screed correct batching and mixing is essential. Each component must be properly measured by weight or volume and mixed to provide a mortar with the lowest possible water content but sufficient liquid to allow good compaction and a good surface finish. The mix design was carried out by a Cemplas pump operative and pumped through a Putzmeister screed pump.

Fast trafficking pothole repair keeps wheels moving at Toyota

The concrete access road to a Toyota dealership in Bracknell had become broken and uneven. Nike Construction, who are responsible for all maintenance work for the dealership group, were asked to find a long lasting repair product which could be laid without the dealership closing and with minimum disruption to customers.

The technical department of Ronacrete recommended RonaRoad EcoPatch Pothole Repair because it is easy to use and can be trafficked immediately. RonaRoad EcoPatch Pothole Repair is used straight from bucket or sack with no mixing required; it then just needs to be tamped and is then ready for traffic immediately.

Other benefits
Speed is not the only benefit of RonaRoad EcoPatch Pothole Repair. It can be laid at very low temperature and in the wet, ensuring that road repairs can be carried out in the most unfavourable of conditions. Most pothole repair materials rely on the use of cutback bitumens which contain volatile oils such as kerosene. RonaRoad EcoPatch Pothole Repair does not contain petroleum based solvents, which attack asphalt and weaken the bond between asphalt and repair, one of the major reasons traditional pothole products fail and are therefore not permanent. RonaRoad EcoPatch Pothole Repair contains plant extracts which do not act aggressively on asphalt and are friendlier to the environment.

Product details
RonaRoad EcoPatch has a zero VOC softener and no petroleum cutback,
a 12 months bag shelf life (compared to one month on traditional road repair products) and no primer or over banding is required. It can be used in very cold weather (is workable down to -25ºC) and can be laid in the wet. As it is truly permanent (unlike many other products which claim to be), this reduces whole life costings.
