Isover Building Insulation

Pitched Roof Insulation
Isover offers a number of solutions for pitched roof applications these are the Room in the roof which is a group of products designed to make extending into the loft easy and energy efficient, these are the Timber frame batt 35 which is a mineral slab to fit in between the rafters and the vario air tightness membrane. Isover also offer the space saver cold roof insulation for insulating the loft space of a home to cut energy bills and the carbon footprint of the property.

Wall Insulation
Saint Gobain Isover has an insulation material for all types of walls, for internal stud walls Isover have both an acoustic and a thermal insulation solution. The new build market is catered for by the Hi-cav 32 glass mineral slab, cavity barriers and around the house insulation roll. Walltherm is a thermally efficient Fibreglass insulation BBA approved cavity insulation for all of your retrofit requirements. For the separating wall cavity Isover offer a number of robust detail solutions for excellent acoustic performance in party walls. Isover also offer insulation for framed walls both between the frames and outside the frame for both timber and metal framed solutions. Partition walls are well catered for as Isover offer a range of high quality acoustic performance insulation options to help the building comply with Part E of the building regulations.

Floor Insulation
Isover have a large range of acoustic flooring insulation options to comply with Part E (England and Wales and Section 5 (Scotland) of the building regulations, these are:
1/Acoustic Partition Wall for domestic and non-residential applications in partitions floors and walls.
2/Sound deadening floor roll for type 2 concrete base separating floors with either a timber or screed floating layer.
3/RD Acoustic Floor slab for separating floors.
4/Sound deadening floor slab for type 3 timber base separating floors.

Cavity Barriers
Isover offers a non-combustible glass wool cavity barrier to restrict the spread of smoke and flames and to minimise flanking noise transmission in concealed cavities in masonry, timber frame and steel frame constructions.

Cladding Insulation
Isover have developed two products to insulate metallic buildings these are the Cladding roll 37 which is a lower lambda Fibreglass roll with excellent tear strength and durability which provides high thermal and acoustic insulation performance, supplied in 1200mm wide rolls along with Cladding Roll 40.
