Urinal Flushing
Cistermiser is synonymous with urinal control valves. Our range includes flow valves to control the supply to cisterns, plus automatic direct-flushing valves that use infrared sensors to detect user occupancy.
- Hydraulic Control Valve: The Hydraulic Control Valve is an automatic urinal flush control valve. The valve uses a unique and simple mechanism which prevents water waste by ensuring that the auto-flush cistern will only fill and can only be flushed, after the washroom has been used.
- Infrared Control Valves IRC: Infrared Control Valve IRC automatically manages the supply of water to a urinal cistern. The unit employs motion-sensing infrared to control valve operation and reduce water consumption by over 80%. The PIR sensor detects movement and activates the solenoid valve, allowing water into the urinal cistern.
- Direct Flush Valve: Direct Flush Valve is an infrared sensor-controlled, mains-flushing urinal valve. The Direct Flush automatically flushes the individual urinal after use, ensuring the highest level of hygiene from the minimum volume of water. The cost-effective solution ensures maximum urinal hygiene and water efficiency. Direct Flush removes the need for the auto-flush cistern and associated plumbing used in traditional urinal installations, which flush all urinals intermittently even if they have not all been used.
Toilet Flushing
Our WC range includes valves for toilets that use a traditional cistern plus direct-flushing systems for busy washrooms that require immediate re-flush. We also offer anti-vandal controls for demanding environments.
- Easyflush: Easyflush Wave or Walkaway features a hands-free and water-conserving toilet cistern flush and fill valve which are two interlinked valves in one: a lift/drop valve which empties the cistern and a delayed action float valve which controls refilling. It also includes an integral overflow pipe to prevent flooding.
- Easyflush Direct: Easyflush Direct is an electronic flushing system for WCs that removes the need for a WC cistern, by taking its water feed straight from the mains supply. This means there is no cistern to be refilled and a second flush can be activated immediately. A hygiene flush can also be activated to maintain the cleanliness of the WC.
Infrared Taps
Cistermisers’ range of infrared sensor taps are easy to install, as retrofit or new build installations. They help to improve hygiene and prevent the transfer of pathogens with non-touch controls. With an infrared tap, the water only runs while your hands are within range, so these taps reduce wasted water, increase efficiency, save energy and reduce costs, while maintaining reliability and high performance.

- Novatap: The Novatap offers the optimum in hygiene standards by boasting an automatic 12-hour hygiene flush feature, that is easy to set up, to prevent the build-up of stagnant water which can harbour legionella if not flushed regularly, while the non-touch, infrared control activation reduces the risk of cross contamination, while cutting water usage, increasing efficiency, saving energy and minimising costs. The Novatap is easy to install, as retrofit or new build installations and has been intelligently designed with an external solenoid to ensure quicker servicing and a safety shut-off, which automatically activates after 60 sec of continual water flow to minimise the risk of flooding. - The Vecta+ Shower Panel range: The Vecta+ Shower Panel range are light weight, surface mounted and pre-plumbed ready to be installed. Perfect as retrofit or new build installations. The range includes a hygienic non-touch sensor activated panel (SSPV) and a traditional mechanical push-button panel (MSPV). Both of these models include a sustainable 8lpm flow rate regulator as standard, with the water set to continually flow for 30 seconds, to reduce water wastage, increase efficiency and save energy, while offering a more sustainable, economical, commercial shower. Furthermore, these sleek slim-line showers have a patented 42 pin shower head nozzle fitted as standard, to reduce limescale damage on the shower head and gives users a rain effect shower experience. This stylish range has concealed fittings within the panel, making general maintenance easy. Washroom Controls
Sensazone is an intelligent leak prevention system for commercial washrooms. It has been specifically designed with non-invasive infrared motion sensors, which automatically open the water outlets, allowing water to freely flow when the washroom becomes occupied.
Sensazone will fully protect buildings against the risks associated with water damage or flooding from faulty water outlets or vandalism, crucially closing off the water when no motion is detected. Once installed this smart solution will continually operate and offers unlimited daily activations during any 24-hour period. Sensazone could not only reduce a buildings insurance premium but will also minimise utility bills and water wastage. Sensazone is a unique and versatile solution that can also be seamlessly integrated into lighting and fan controls if required.
Limescale Prevention
Combimate from Cistermiser is a thoroughly proven limescale prevention device, designed to protect appliances in hard water areas and to reduce the effects of soft water corrosion.
- Combimate: Combimate is a user-friendly domestic limescale prevention device that uses Combiphos to deliver guaranteed prevention of limescale and soft water corrosion water control, with no moving parts. This can be for a single appliance or the entire house water supply. Combiphos is a tasteless, 100% food grade material, approved by the FAO/WHO, that prevents scale build-up and soft water corrosion in combination boilers and other domestic hot water appliances.
- Combiphos: Combiphos is a polyphosphate compound specifically developed to provide the most effective limescale prevention in flow-through installations. Remote Monitoring:

Cistermiser’s EasyflushEVO prevents ‘leaky loos’ saving thousands of litres of water
Cistermiser’s EasyflushEVO toilet flushing valve prevents ‘leaky loos’, saving significant volumes of water in commercial and public sector buildings. It’s a straightforward, cost-effective solution that is ideal for new or retrofit installations.
According to Waterwise, between five and eight per cent of UK toilets are leaking. These ‘leaky loos’ are wasting as much as 400 million litres of clean, fresh water every day across both non-domestic and domestic buildings. It is estimated that a third of commercial washrooms have at least one leaky toilet – each could be wasting between 215 and 400 litres of water on average per day. As well as having a detrimental impact on the UK’s precious water reserves (which are under pressure from climate change, population growth and rising water use), leaks also result in higher utility costs – just six leaking toilets could increase a building’s water bill by £2,500 a year.
A large proportion of ‘leaky loos’ are dual flush toilets fitted with drop flush valves. While dual flush toilets were designed to help reduce water consumption (in theory, the smaller, part flush should use four litres of water and the larger, full flush should use six litres), unfortunately some models can leak. The issue is that drop flush valves will usually start to degrade over time, resulting in leaks. The seal on a drop flush valve tends to be situated below the cistern’s water line, and limescale deposits and debris (commonly found in cistern water) can cause degradation, as can chemicals if they are also present in the water.
Unfortunately, it is not easy to detect leaks, and they can be present for some time before they are identified. In fact, research suggests that a leak needs to reach around 300 litres of water a day before the issue is identified (this is the point at which the leak becomes audible or more visible . It is therefore essential to prevent leaks occurring in the first place – but this doesn’t mean that dual flush toilets shouldn’t be specified. The issue can be quickly resolved by selecting an appropriate dual flush flush valve initially .

This latest win follows hot off the heels of the EasyflushEVO victory at the Bathroom Manufacturers’ Association Sustainability Awards, where it won the Water Efficiency category 2022.
